If you wondered how the other free time are spent in camp, allow me to be informative of my routine during free time. We have bridging session, which i often win because i always went for like 3-4 no trump with 3-4 aces and following sets in my hands. Then there is newspaper reading. Usually you start of with the comic sessions in the life section and then you cover the rest of the life section. But you see, sometimes there is so much free time, you can afford to cover other sections as well, my favorites since young has always been the complaint-filled section, mainly insights, forums and reviews. It is damn entertaining to see how these writers sometimes commit themselves to certain unforgivable fallacies. You get a funny oxymoron at times like incomplete all-rounders.
Anyway, its because of these free time that i become more socially aware of the state of the world today. I bet i am even more aware of these current affairs that my other peers who are out there working or studying or idling their time away. I know of the current bilateral relationship developments between us and our neighbours, the current and fragile state of thailand, the increasing intense war of words between the two korean countries, the scent of that oil spill and its clean-up.
Like I am preparing for a GP exam already.
Speaking of the N/S Korean issue, I had this S.Korean bunkmate of mine and he can be seen really patriotic about his country , checking on the news daily and sharing his hatred as well as anxiety especially when war may just be about to break out anytime soon. Shows that he really do care for his country, something that we guys are supposed to be taught with.
If you, my Korean friend, are reading this, i must say you are of the most polite and caring friend i have ever known. Especially during last night when i was kind of all over the place, i thank you for putting up with all the trouble i am causing. I was grateful you didn't just leave me in deep shit at the place like what your other friends might have done. Salute you man.
