Law-rush through a 15 min essay with two topics to choose from:
1. Some lives deserve death. Some die deserves life. Can you just give it to them? Should we deal out death simply for the sake of justice and out of our own safety?
2. Task without vision is drudgery,
vision without task is a dream,
but task with vision can give you success and happiness in life. Discuss.
I was so stunned by both questions and to make matters worse the person beside me started writing straight away upon seeing the question. Took me a while to recollect my thoughts and to pen down my points on that essay and i didn't even finish till the end of the bottom of the first page when they said time's out. That's quite bad, cause what i wrote is not even like half the length of a A4 paper.
After which, we were grouped into groups of three. Thank god i met my bunk mate there and we got to go into the same interview group. The interview took in the form of a mini-debate. One person for a case for allowing performance enhancing drugs to be allowed in sports, the other against and the last person to be the judge. I was really thankful that i got to bring out most of my points cause my opponents kept getting interjected all the time that she didn't manage to finish her rebuttal and move on to her points. Oh, by the way, being the judge sucks cause you don't really have a point yourself and it is a bit difficult for you to shine in that interview.
That took about like 25 mins with lots of digressing to ginseng and F1 races and then it was over. Pretty fast interview. Started at 0815 and the whole thing ended before 0930.
