Caught Sherlock Holmes the movie which is definitely a worthwhile watch. Very intellectually discriminating though, hence not the type of movie everyone will enjoy. If you didnt understand/enjoy the Prestige. I am sorry, this is not the movie for you. Apparently only my row of people truly was enjoying and laughing in the show, i think the rest of the audience were falling asleep.
After the movie, we went to Somerset 313 to do some shopping. Actually linh wants to get an orange sweater from Uniqlo; the same green sweater i am wearing, except orange.
No stock left at Somerset 313 outlet and hence we decided to take a train down to Orchard Ion and try their Uniqlo outlet there.

On a very depressing note. See that guy in black at the background of the photo. He was very sad and lonely. He kept eating his Long John Silver for like the entire 2 hours plus we were there, alone. This is what is like when you have to work alone as well.
Dinner at Aston's and then its was off to the countdown. I tell you. It was so packed at Marina that we kept walking

from one end of the Singapore River to the other end of the Singapore River.
Thats because the roads were barricaded. Underpass were blocked to esplanade. The padang was muddy. So we had no choice but to walk till to the Singapore River Bridge and catch a spectacular fireworks. (actually it is just john and linh who wants to go to Brewerkzs at Clarke Quay, hence the journey to the pub)
But what really made my New Year was this heated argument between an old man who got spread by party soap foams and the group of ignorant chinese speaking youngsters. Damn awkward when they stared so hard at each other and everyone around were cheering and screaming at the fireworks.
What happens after that was a big blur.
Meet up at Brewerkz. Handshake with the people there, and wishing each other happy new year.Getting dissolved in the crowd. Saw some Cj people having issues and troubles with themselves.
Then erm, the bus card EXPIRES and i overgeneralise that all buses operate till 2am. No bus home!! Took a train which cost $1.70 and walk home from the train station.
And from that stroke of midnight, everyone suddenly officially became adults. Adult Fare for bus rides!!
