Didnt study at all cause i went to clear Stephanie's doubts regarding marginalist principle. Took a long time to finally find a proper analogy to explain the concept behind the marginalist principle and then explain other stuffs and left for the cheerlead competition.
We were late. Or at least we thought we were late cause we thought the whole thing will start at four. And JiaNee the organiser was apologising for being late when Eric appeared forever stuck at novena's mrt station. ( he sent a text saying his train was not moving.....steph suggested that he probably board a train that he was not supposed to board. )
The Primary school category for cheerlead was just the appetitizer. The theme for this year's cheerlead competition was KINDNESS.. and so nearly every group spelled out the word kindness the whole time. Singaporeans really have limited vocabulary... some of the Children are really very cute and hyper but watching them just reminds out little xinyuns running around in front of me doing bimbotic acts..
Then comes the open, Non stunts category.. really crappy performance. Cause the secondary school people are doing nearly the same as what the primary school people are doing except that they are not cute at all. Damn suck really nothing good to say, except that some people can dance and shake really well.
And it was the long waited Open stunt category. Started off with some Football cheerleading team. Most of the cheerleaders for that group was guys, only one girl in the group so they brought cheerlead a name. with Guys as High fliers. I call them the SAF Air force team. They are literally flying all over the place, damn professional. They can flip and turn and do all kinds of stunts. I suspected when the players are not in the football game, they were practising cheerleading. They were so good that subsequent performances were no longer interesting.
This cheerlead competition is definately an eye opener for me. With all the little xinyuns running all over the place, to some human aeroplanes and all that dancing as well.
By the way, we were WINDBREAKERs for this event!!! you know why? cause we are blocking this super big fan.
