On second intake, i pretended i was a second intaker when i came to CJC. Posed my name as Damien. (actually i didnt know how to spell it,until my facilitator spelt it for me) So for the entire day, everyone thought i was a noob sec intake person as i joined everyone for the subject combination talk. The talk got boring and draggy so i left to the canteen, to chill a while and stuffs.
Then i went back and everyone still thinks i am Damien. though there were some incidents where my friends called me by real name, no one really suspected anything. So everyone happily thought there was a Damien in their IG.
i had incidents like " thank you damien" from my ex facilitator who was playing along with me. Or like " of all names you chose to pose, you have to use Damien". Those were from people who really knew my name. And couple of times, I chanced upon the real Damien and he said i had no Orginality with names.
Until towards the end when we had a sec round of attendance taking then my facilitators realised i wasnt Damien. And they kept insisting that Damien was my unregistered name in the NRIC. So now i have became Damien Yong Jia Jie.That was the only fun thing that happened throughout the orientation. I have the pattern of becoming very anti social on my first day of any orientation.
Hopefully tomorrow will be even more fun when i go back and delcared that my name isnt Damien and i shall wear my CJC shirt to show that i am a first intaker.
