I am really proud that my class actually won the maths and science challenge.Seriously, i was never expecting to win, neither did i expect that most of my classmates would just chip in abit there and then to provide any sort of assistance. Thanks alot to all those who have contributed, we didnt ruin the cataTING reputation. On top of that, i think it was nice to see everyone working together for a common goal.
The second night of the learning carnival was movie screening of "letters from iwo jima" rated nc16. Why nc16? because you see people commiting sucides now and then because the japanese knew they are going to lose. Yup, you see people bombing their own body. pulling the trigger. etc. etc. thats so japanese.very sadistic show. AND it cost you 9 dollars to watch it plus you get a FREE worksheet that you have to complete about the show.
the next day, i went out with my year 3 cadets to vivocity to catch Mr bean's holiday. Again i cant say that my 9 dollars was really well spent. The cinema was so packed that we did manage to get the first row sits way right in front of the biggest screen ever. If you were there, well you can see the whole row empty during the show because all of us were sitting on the floor during the show.
after which, we had fun in the arcade and left the place to have dinner at KFC. We had to go all the way down to toa payoh for a treat by sir guo hwee. That was really unexpected from sir, but we really had to thank him. with that i had too much of fast food within a week.
guess i shall avoid fast food for the rest of the month and the following month.
