He started by asking if philosophy really interest me alot,i simply answer that i am always using it to keep myselves occupied.Like the way how i always use to reason things out,when someone makes a statement.My home economics teacher used to tell us that the "empty vessel makes the most noise",but then i easily contradicted it with "it takes two to clap".Empty vessels ALONE cannot make any noise at al,it needs something else to go along with it.Even for a person who is talking to himselves..the walls have ears so at least that is something listening to the person speak.
But then mr lee continued"HUAt not this AND that instead this OR that,HUAt dun you put both statements together."So i tried it,"it takes two empty vessels to make much more noise than an empty vessel itself."kk it makes perfect sense,but then it is "TWO" laughable already.
Let's try something else...erm...building castles in the sky...contracts with satellies are build in space where there is no medium to support it..so if people can build something in a place without any medium HUAt not bulid something where there is medium(air) to support it.So the end result: building castles in the sky are not used to describe people who often daydream of the impossible but people who will defeat the imposible to a state of possibility.Note whenever you add this and that together you get a whole new result that is completely different from the indivual before adding together.
After a while of self introduction to him,he then asked me"since you are so involved in philosophies the have you found out HUAt is the meaning of life?"I told him that we live each day to find out what is the purpose of life,that is the meaning of living,and to be living means life.Maybe that explains why on the following he decided to tells us a story about the value of our life.
From the whole talk,i learned something about myself-i found what am truely good at,i found out the source of my craps and therories,i realised that it was because of philosophy that let me to create interest in english that cause me to excel well in it.My staff sergent who was at the conversation also told me that someday i will be able to inspire my cadets well.
Just yesterday,he even asked me if i would agreed to go up to the friday's sharing and take his place.I guess that will create a whole new meaning to reflection day.But then as we all know some people just find whatever Mr lee shares find of crap,not everyone can appreciate philosophy.On top of that,it requires too much courage to even go up there to present something.So i replied that i will consider.End of story.Nice offer but then..
